WASHINGTON—U.S. Senator Dan Sullivan and Congressman Nick Begich (both R-Alaska) today welcomed an announcement from Glenfarne, the majority owner and developer of the Alaska LNG project, that it has signed a letter of intent with TotalEnergies, one of the world’s largest energy companies, for the offtake of two million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the project.
